The Chatham Rotary Club and Town of Chatham VA are excited to bring you the 2024 Hometown Celebration. This will be a weekend of celebration, family fun presented by partnering community groups, concerts, and fireworks. This community-focused weekend will provide lots of opportunities to celebrate our great Town, County, and Nation. It is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors.
Friday, June 28 - 3:00 pm: Home and Business Patriotic Decor Contest Judging and Awards
Saturday, June 29 - 10 am: Field of Honor Opening Ceremony located at Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex
Sunday, June 30 - 3:00 pm: Patriotic Concert by the Ranier Trio, Emmanuel Episcopal Church
Tuesday, July 2 - 4:00 until 6:00 pm: Chatham Farm Market, with special activities
- 3:00 - 6:00 pm: Street Fair (see flyer below)
- 7:00 pm: Chatham Hometown Heroes Parade- open to everyone! Bring anything on wheels- Bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skateboards, golf carts, ATVs, farm equipment- all decked out in beautiful red, white, and blue! Show your Hometown pride and patriotism! Fall into the line, starting on Hurt St, next to the former Old Dutch.
- 9:00 (ish): Fireworks: Show will start once skies are dark, which may be 9:15 or so. Find your spot, and settle in for a fabulous display!
