PROJECT OVERVIEW This program is designed to provide children from low-income households with nutritious kid friendly groceries for the weekend when free school lunches and breakfasts are not provided. Background/History of Project: For man years, our club has been dedicated to this project as we maintain a yearly donation of dictionaries to area 3rd graders. Project Overview: Chatham Rotary Club members pay for and distribute dictionaries to over 200 children in the third grade at all the elementary schools in Pittsylvania County each year.
Background/History of Project: Over three years of service to the 80+ residents of the Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Project Overview: Club members filled baskets with edibles, toiletries and other goods for older adults. Club Members then delivered the baskets to the residents and spent time visiting.
